I've been there a few times and it's great. I've sinned in the dinning room as well as the bar. Happy hour is great their. I love the remoulade they put on the burger.

Service: POOR Ambiance: Dead Food: Mediocre at best Just wondering what the heck happened to this name brand? The one in Baltimore City? Top Notch, classy, clean, and Top Notch service. I felt like I was at a Ruby Tuesday's Under cover boss: This place needs your help, otherwise Capital Grill next door SHOULD be demolishing (you the competition).

My first experience with Ruth's Chris was at their Princeton, NJ location. I was totally impressed. The amazing food, the great ambiance, the top notch service...it was a great dining experience. Then I came to the KOP location. Now don't get me wrong here, it wasn't horrible, it was okay. I think the main fault of this location is its close proximity to the 2nd largest mall in America! When I dined there there was actually people there in sweatpants who probably left the mall and saw the words "steak house" and thought it was an Outback! I think the type of clientele makes the staff try a little less and the place loses some of the polished atmosphere that I experienced in Princeton. Bottom line, good....just not up to the standard of other Ruth's Chris locations.

This was without a doubt the worst steakhouse I have ever been to. It would have been better to go to outback and spend half he money. Our server started out great making recommendations and getting us going. As the Meal went on and got worse she drifted away. In all fairness she was serving a lot of tables sat all at once, but at the end of the day it's her job To make the experience. Appetizers French onion soup- decent. Nothing special but a good choice. Shrimp cocktail- nice size shrimp. Fresh. Crab cakes- dried out and really just not good. Meals Cowboy ribeye- this was highly recommended by the server and it was TERRIBLE! in fact, the busboy said he had one that same week and he was not impressed at all. This steak was terrible. It had zero flavor, I mean zero. It was beyond seared on the outside, closer to charcoaled. It really tasted like nothing you could imagine. It was like eating dog food. The server NEVER asked how our meal was, presumably because the busboy had already told her and she didn't want to deal with it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STEAK. Potato au gratin- tasted good. Nothing special Cream spinach- probably the best part of the meal. Give it a try. Overall for almost $250 I would have rather went to chili's. It was really that bad. Food way over priced and just not good, service was poor, besides the busboy. GO TO MORTONS or even Outback but do not waste your money here.

First off: Total 5-star service. Our server was patient as we asked him a million questions, descriptive in every answer he gave, and was extremely accommodating to say the least. I ordered the lamb chops and my wife had the ribeye. Both were cooked to the requested temperature, and the server does ask that you confirm this upon arrival. However, I found the taste of both a little on the subpar side. You would think it tastes awesome since everything is cooked in butter, but it was missing something. I didn't ask, but a side of mint would've been nice with the lamb. Sides were a very generous portion, so totally shareable, as were the appetizers. They were probably the best aspect of the meal. And the complimentary rolls were actually quite addicting. They'll sell you on the lobster mac and cheese, but I found it too liquidy and not baked enough. Decent portion though as I mention. I'd return with a group if I lost my vote, but I would work to convince my peers to go elsewhere. Other than that, I don't see myself returning on my own.

I went here with some friends for happy hour the second time today, and probably one of the best happy hour deals around. All the food items are $7 and the steak sandwich is probably our favorite. It comes with 4 pieces of steak cooked at your preferred temperature (usually spot on) on a roll topped with bearnaise sauce. Also includes a side of fries. For 7 dollars. The drink specials are nice but nothing groundbreaking or super cheap. The bar area is clean with friendly service. Two flat screen TVs are available for your enjoyment. On a sad note, I'm worried about this place. Every time we go, it's almost empty and there are more employees than customers. Hopefully, it's just because we go during off hours and these sweet happy hour deals will draw in the crowds.

I received a gift card for Christmas or I probably wouldn't have tried this place . The cowboy ribeye was way over seasoned and barely had any fat on it . I love a fatty steak . I can't say that it's bad but it's what I expected from a chain restaurant . Lobster mac & cheese was amazing ! Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because it's not my preference on how I like my steak .

Based on my dinner tonight, I had to give RCSH 5 stars. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, the sautéed mushrooms melted in my mouth and the sweet potato casserole was to die for. The service was great and the bill, well that's another matter entirely. Lol! I highly recommend you try the 'sweet potato casserole' with whatever protein you choose.

I've recently only start to come to this place for one reason and one reason only. THE HAPPY HOUR DEAL. It's $7 for what could most appropriately be called "small bites" I guess (at least they are for a big guy like me) and $7 mixed drinks and $3 yeunglings. I usually get the steak sandwhich med rare and the service is so hit or miss because everyone working there just seems to not care that sometimes it comes rare and others it's med well. The place it self looks like it's on its last legs, most likely due to it's location in regards to the KOP mall (It's farther out from the shops than Capital Grille and Seasons 52 etc). Aside from the 3 tables that are there for happy hour there's maybe 1 actual table seated for dinner, which explains the last ditch effort to get people through the door with this deal. You gotta try this deal while it lasts I don't forsee this restaurant keeping its doors open for very much longer. But be warned you're getting what you pay for so don't expect out of this world service or food.

Disappointing, and the caption by the rating says it all: "Meh. I've experienced better." I remember coming here years ago and really enjoying the steak. I've been telling my fiance that he ought to try Ruth's Chris for quite some time now. We finally made it in last week with reservations. Despite it being a weeknight, the service was insanely slow. Slow to refill waters, slow to bring out food, slow to greet us initially. My fiance ordered a ribeye, medium rare, and I ordered the filet oscar style, also medium rare. By the time our steaks actually did arrive at the table, I was surprised to find that my filet was overcooked and my fiance's ribeye was somehow actually more tender than my filet. We also ordered the lobster mac and cheese. The cheese was bland and the lobster seemed to be diced into tiny little pieces. I couldn't really taste it. To give a fair review, I will say that my fiance thoroughly enjoyed his perfectly cooked steak, and was quite happy with his meal, though he agreed that the mac and cheese wasn't all that good. My overcooked steak and the bland mac and cheese pretty much so ruined it for me, though.

I believe the experience one receives at an eatery is based on the professionalism of the staff and a bit of the vibe the diner puts off. Nearing the end of a tough work week and deciding I earned a little reward I chose Ruth Chris for dinner tonight. Dining by myself and wearing jeans and a fleece shirt I think I showed up a bit underdressed. Plus a sign of fatigue produced a less than favorable attitude from the server. Maybe she anticipated less of a tip or felt I wasn't Ruth Chris material. She attempted to run me into an Ala cart order when I ordered from the fixed price combo meal section of the menu. She was flipping from page to page fumphering through prices not even trying to help me order a reasonably priced dinner. I pointed out politely my item the veal chop was in the combo deal and she played it off like the menus was new. Sorry Sheila I'm not buying it, you tried to run up my tab because I was a lone diner and you thought the tip was going to suck. What made me feel this way was the fat guy in the cheap suit manager skipped right by me when greeting the people in the booths at the bar side of the restaurant. Hey mr manager, über traveler/ Yelper here you fouled up! My salad came out and it was excellent, if there was a critical point the dish wasn't wiped but not the end of the world. Then there was an an awkward period when the salad was gone and I sat there twiddling u thumbs and poking at my iPhone. Here comes my veal chop that looked fabulous but I ordered medium and got rare. My rule is eat it now then bitch later on yelp. Sheila offered me a second hot plate to cook it at the table. Yo girl bring me a chefs hat too. I ate most of it anyway because when I submit a $70 dinner bill on my expenses I like to say "yeah I ate that and it sucked". $30 buck less I would have paid walked and gone to shake shack! Maybe it was my attitude but I'm not paid to be nice to people, waitress's are! I was not at all nasty just not jovial because I'm tired from a high stress work week. Needless to say Sheila returns and under explains my desert. I was pretty stuffed and she explained I had a piece of chocolate cake and chocolate on the side. I assumed a little piece of spongy cake and chocolate syrupy what shows up is a dense chocolate cheese cake and a nice sized piece of chocolate bark. Had I been properly informed I would have brought this back toy hotel for later. F'you Sheila you have to be better at your job than this. Not a chain joint guy I wanted to try Ruth Chris and having this one in my hotel parking lot was a great opportunity. The yelp reviews were hit or miss. I took a shot and now I can say been there done that and move on to my favorites which are non chain farm to table and family owned artisan bistros. Thanks Sheila for screwing Ruth Chris for me because it's overpriced and over hype! Might try again but not in KOP. Hey mr manager stop finishing off people's left overs in the kitchen and stop discriminating when greeting diners. The guy you snub may be a FoodDude!

Always 5 stars starting from the service, to the drinks and, of course, the delicious food. I am never disappointed at Ruth's Chris.

Update: Service still stellar. Kitchen, less so. I love the ravioli appetizer. The sauce with it had gone from luscious to watery. Little care is taken with the garlic spinach not to overpower the dish. The steak offerings have been the same for too long, and technique has suffered. My husband loves the Cowboy ribeye so when I stopped by for a solo cocktail, I got one "to go" to surprise him. There were grill marks on one side and gray nothingness on the other. This steak had not seen a broiler at all. I thought perhaps they cook it differently for take out. I inquired on my next visit and was assured it was supposed to be exactly the same. I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium steak. Premium price when I could have gotten a better sear at home in my cast iron pan? No thanks. While this is just one example, we have been unimpressed with the food and outdated menu for some time. Dry aged or grass fed beef? Nowhere to be found. I can now get prime beef at BJs. That alone isn't a selling point anymore.

My wife and I went to this location the day after Valentines Day. Having been to several Ruth's Chris locations (and this one) before, we were very disappointed in our experience for several reasons, Service was vey slow at the outset. It took 10 minutes for a waitress to come over, and another 10 to get our drinks (she had time to engage in chat with the table next to us, though). I had to ask for bread, as none was brought automatically (supposed to be). My wife is gluten-free (an absolute requirement for her), so we inquired as to whether the French Onion soup was gluten free. The waitress swore up and down it was as long as there was no bread added. She had a whole story about another customer who gets it regularly and is gluten free. Well, it wasn't. My wife was sick all night. After talking with corporate the next day, they acknowledged the soup was absolutely not gluten free (they offered several things to make up for our experience...more on that later). Our meals took almost an hour to arrive. The manager was very apologetic and promised to be "accountable." I tasted my steak, and while it was done to order and tasty, it was not hot (certainly not sizzling as promised). I wouldn't have said anything, but the manager came over and asked me how the temperature of the steak was. I told him. He had it heated up in their high temperature boiler and removed the steak from our check. I had also gotten a lobster tail with my meal. It was very good, but it did not come with any butter. My wife contacted corporate the next day. They called back, and were very apologetic and willing to improve. They refunded our entire check including tip. They also said they would see to retraining of the staff when it comes to food allergies. Finally, the representative promised to send a gift card in the mail that very day. That was six weeks ago, and the gift card never arrived. They did complete the refund right away. For the money you're going to spend at a place like this, you are much better off at a Morton's or Defrisco's. We will not be back to this location, and are probably finished with the chain entirely.

Let me start by saying, I wouldn't of went to this place if I didn't get a giftcard for Christmas. Alright, so we got there early one evening the hostess was brimming with emotion...(sarcasm). When we got there, it took a while for the waitress to come by and give us water. Granted, she apologized because one of the waiters didn't show up so she had to fill in. When we ordered the food, it came within a reasonable time, but the side dishes, creamed spinach and veggies, tasted like they came out of a bag. Dare I blame it being a chain? The steak was over salted and super greasy, though it was cooked to the temperature I asked for. If I'm spending over $100...shouldn't I get something at least a little better than any other chain? I might as well went to Capital Grille. Side note, sat at the booth. Why is there a mirror running along the wall? It's super distracting and made me feel kind of uncomfortable while I was eating because I caught myself out of the corner of my eye....weird

Service: is good 4/5 Stars!! Food: was "meh" 3/5 Stars NY Strip - ordered Med Rare, arrived over cooked. Wife had the Tomato and onion appetizer (tomatoes weren't ripe, hard) (Food at the Princeton Ruth's Chris location is way better!) Location: 2/5 Stars, tough to get to. Ambiance: 1/5 Stars We were in a small room against a wall, felt like a room in the restaurant at a Marriott Courtyard, no style.

This is our favorite ruth's chris location, I tend to avoid chain restaurants but this is closer to kop which make it very convenient after shopping. We always get the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, and a medium T-bone with cajun spice. It does get a little bit loud when their busy , but if you come early you could still enjoy a nice quiet dinner. The service is always nice , haven't had a bad experience yet. I really feel like their steak is a hit or miss, on somedays it's really good but on other days its mediocre. Most of the time , it's enjoyable. If you are in the area or hungry after a day of shopping, give it a try. It's better than Sullivan's .

Allow me to say first I have eaten here at the bar multiple times. You come to a place like this for the experience and that's exactly what was lacking tonight. We always sit at the bar. It was modestly busy so we thought we'd be patient but that's all we had: PATIENCE no drink, food, no order for the first 25 minutes. To make this review to the point: service was less than to be desired. Bartenders spent way too much time chit chatting than making sure everyone was adequately served. To boot they took my food before I was even finished. Food was to be expected with the exception of the grand total of 4 mushrooms I received in my side of mushrooms that we obviously over-paid for.

Ate here for my bday & as usual I loved it! We ordered a 3 course meal. Caesar salad, filet & shrimp & a dessert (which they swapped out for a bday dessert) We also got crab cakes as an appetizer. Everything was amazing! Staff was great as well.

Heard so much about Ruth's so we had to go. I had the ribeye and it was very good. Waiter was pretty insistent on us getting sides which we did. The sides were mediocre but the steak was good enough to cover. Overall pretty good experience.

My husband and I recently celebrated our 5th anniversary at this location. It was our first time at Ruth Chris and we were so thrilled with everything. The food was to die for. Our steaks were cooked to absolute perfection; even something as simple as the mashed potatoes were delicious. I had a sparkling rose wine and it was lovely, perfect for our little celebration. And we had the creme brulee for dessert, which I would highly recommend. The service was friendly and engaging. The place was clean and sooo beautiful. Plus they put rose petals on our table because I mentioned our anniversary when I made the reservation. They really made our night special.

I dine here about 4 times a year. I would visit more often, but it is expensive. I love a good filet, and Ruth's Chris has the best filet that I ever tasted. Excellent quality cut and the garlic butter on the plate makes it so tasty. Melts in my mouth! Great tomato and mozzarella salad. Lobster bisque soap is excellent. Sides are very good and big enough for 2. They make the best au gratin potatoes. Love their deserts as well. Professional and friendly service. Even though it is an upscale place, you can dress casual. Always a great meal and experience.

Not snobby, unpretentious, and really friendly service. Ruth Chris' got their groove back! I'm not sure what they did but I credit the GM for hiring excellent staff. This is fine chop house the way it is supposed to be. Come, you will enjoy!

We had a party of 14 on Saturday night. Food was good but not great. I had the Ribeye, it was overcooked and I'm not one to complain. Another person in our party ordered the filet rare, it was also over cooked. My baked potato was not done. I expected more from a place with these kind of prices. I've had better steak @ Texas Roadhouse. Wine was fantastic, Beer was cold, service was pretty good, overall a nice time, I just expect more for a 50 dollar steak.

Let me start by saying, I don't usually use this app, but my experience was so bad, I am now on this. As others have stated before, what can you expect from a chain restaurant? Lets begin... The wait staff was sub par with little to no true engagement with our table of 9! I'm sorry we bought my father for his 70th birthday here and were willing to shell forty dollars plus for a diner steak. I ordered a petite prime rib medium rare as my brother did, sitting to my right. When the steaks came out my brother recieved a great looking steak. To my dismay, my steak was cooked well done and looked like it had been thawed out minutes after I ordered. The meat tasted like shoe leather with a hint of salt and butter. In my experience with prime rib cooked medium rare, it should be thicker cut that when cut is like a hot knife thru butter. So overall, horrible steak. To boot, my brothers fiance found a hair on her salmon dish. Come on people, I know your a restaurant out to make money, but to straight up charge upsurd pricing on sub par dishes is highway robbery. Never coming here or any other locations. Good luck in the future. I'll take a picture from a true steakhouse and send it in to show you.

We went to Ruth Chris last night for dinner. This was our first time at this location. We had made a reservation for 7. When we got there we realized that a reservation wasn't needed. We both had drinks. I had my normal, blue moons, and my boyfriend had the electric lemonade. He ordered 2 and he said that the proportions of ingredients were different for each. Dinner came with 4 dinner rolls and softened whipped butter. Yummy. We had ordered the 3 course meals so our meal come with a soup/salad, entree with side, and creme brûlée. I had checked out the website before we arrived and this location doesn't have all the options listed in the website. The website does say that the menu may vary by locations. It would have been nice to have an option for dessert. The food was great, the service was excellent. They brought out our food as soon as we finished each course. My only complaint was that it's really pricey but I guess we knew that going in.

Went out for dinner with friends after a long taxing week. We had a bonus card from Christmas gift cards to use. However this meal left a lot to be desired for both food quality and waiter service. First when we ordered our drinks the waiter split one drink all over my purse and phone with only an apology and ops. I even had to ask for napkins to clean up the mess. Then the salads were wonderful but don't expect extra bread! Now the main course.... My steak was cooked correctly, but my friend ordered med rare and for med well then after waiting 5 min for the waiter to return he agreed and took the steak back to have a manger deliver another over done steak 10min later. The manager didn't even wait until she cut into it before leaving. The lobster mac was watery and the potato was uncooked! When we told the manager she took 10%off but it didn't come close to the damn done to this restaurant reputation in my book.

I had not been to a Ruth's Chris in many moons, but decided on Sunday night it was time for a good piece of prime beef. Arrived about 6PM and no crowds at all, but since it was just me, I sat at the bar. The atmosphere was pleasant. I had a couple of drinks to relax a little . . . Dewar's & water and they were fine, but a little pricey at $11.50 each, compared to what I am used to paying. That was expected though. I ordered the bone in rib eye, rare, and the fries. The service was prompt and courteous. The steak was a little smaller than I expected. While the menu didn't specify, I guess the 16 oz. probably included the bone. It was cooked perfectly rare and did have a nice flavor. The problem was there were several times I had to saw & hack through some pretty tough gristle. That really shouldn't happen with what is supposed to be prime, aged beef at those prices. I left feeling like I certainly had not just had a meal worth the $125 I had paid, including drinks and tip. I wasn't angry or anything, but just felt it wasn't worth the cost. Edit: I saw someone else mention bread & butter. It was never offered to me.

Had a nice birthday dinner here. The crab stuffed lobster was delicious! They give a complimentary dessert for birthdays. We chose the banana cream pie after hearing great things about it. I didn't think it was that great...liked the caramelized sugar on top, but the cream is basically liquid. I prefer it to be a little thicker in consistency. It also could use more bananas too. Overall a great meal. I still prefer Capital Grille.

Ruth Chris earned my birthday dinner award this year! An award not given out everyday cause your birthday comes just once every year. This place is home to a life changing changing steak and delicious sides. Ruth Chris to me the the has "steaked" its claim to the capital of the united steaks of america. Very punny I know. On a normal visit to Ruth I get a little taste of everything Starting with the Ahi Tuna which is also the best Ahi Tuna I have ever had Garlic mashed potatoes are also very Delicious and are a classic side next to any steak. One of my favorite desserts is also served to perfection here - creme brulee. When the "steaks" are raised bet on Ruth.

Ruth's Chris. I just don't get it. I don't understand why the parking lot is always packed here. Last time I ate here, I left feeling disappointed and ripped off. We ordered filets and they seemed overcooked and burnt. So disappointing especially considering the price you're paying for it. I didn't even know you could mess filet mignon up. I could have made a better steak if I picked one up at Wegmans across the street and cooked it at home myself. I will say that I was happy with the sides we shared though. The baby spinach and the potatoes au gratin were excellent, but it was a little awkward eating it off the tiny plates they gave us for the sides. I wouldn't doubt it they were just extra coffee cup saucers. Anyway, I'd skip Ruth's Chris. There are much better places to get a steak in the area--Creed's Seafood and Steaks, Seven Stars Inn, Sullivan's just to name a few.

Sorry, I've eaten at other Ruth chris before and food was better than here. Calamari was a little over sauce, too wet and no crunchy. My t bone was little salty. My friend ordered filet and lobster, a 75$ plate and couldn't finished it. Lobster was a little dry and same with filet, little salty. We also got a shoestring fries, the fries were all soggy and greasy. We had to return and got regular fries instead. But the damage was already done. Needless to say, I didn't finish my t bone and friend didn't finish the filet and lobster. This Ruth chris needs to reevaluate the chef. The other 2 Ruth chris restaurants in DC are better. The bill was 190s $, it wasn't worth the food's quality.

Ruth's Chris never fails to disappoint no matter which location I go to. Here I only came in for drinks and appetizers at the bar after a long travel day. Seared Ahi Tuna (good as always), Spinach salad with bacon vinaigrette (wasn't really impressed with this, there was some sweet flavor that didn't work for me), and the shrimp cocktail (4 large shrimp, 18$.. not quite worth that price, but good). 3 Ketel One Martini's, and my bill hit 77$. So, it's never cheap, but almost always good.

Service either makes or breaks a restaurant experience for me. Our meal at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse was great, the food was excellent. Our steaks were medium rare to perfection and the Au Gratin potatoes were tasty. The seasoning on the steaks could have used a little salt but there was some on the table so we just threw some on. It was an excellent meal at the Ribeyes were awesome. Our server (J. B.) was awesome, very polite but funny. I have to say, he is what took the experience from a great steak to an awesome meal. We'd recommend this place to anyone.

Been here. Couple of times and have no plans to return! Bartender was obnoxious and condescending, waitress was very attentive until I needed service. Steak was better than ok, but undercooked. Fries were mushy, limp and cold. Best part of the meal was the bus boy who hustled to do all that he could to help.

Reviewed this place several months ago, but finally got a chance to go back last week. I had a filet, baked potato, asparagus - amazingly delicious and perfectly cooked. The hubby had some sort of Caribbean surf and turf plate with a filet and a crab stuffed lobster (he gives it an 8 out of 10)- I believe it was under the chef's specials. :) We also enjoyed a cherry lemonade cocktail and a scotch with their chocolate mousse cheesecake - heaven! The customer service here is astounding. We received top-notch service from a great server. All in all - a great place to get a quality, delicious steak with a la carte sides that melt in your mouth.

Our cozy, semi private booth had an extended window nook with a huge stuffed pillow and the black laquered shutters were closed, very impressive and almost ideal for smooching, the white tablecloth was sprinkled generously of red rose petals, while the candle flickered over the heavy flatware. One by one we were greeted by every staff member in sight, wishing us a happy anniversary. I was thrilled and very impressed. Our server was a bit robotic, never really smiling, I won't mention her name, the gal serving the table next to us was a lot more friendly and chatted with her table, I ended up sliding our busboy or her back waiter some money, since he took care of us for the most part and was absolutely delightful, very charming, even though we did leave her a nice tip. My $11.00 dirty martini was well chilled and a generous sized drink, well made, although I always forget to ask for it extra dirty! The consistency of the lobster bisque $10.00, was close to what you would spoon out of a Campbell's tomato soup can and heating it without dilution. The flavor was okay, not much of a sherry taste shining through, nice little bits of lobster, it was not the lobster bisque that I remember from my past visits to Ruth's Chris. If you take a moment to look at the crab appetizer picture $18.00, ours was nothing like the pic or what we were accustomed to from previous visits to other Ruth's Chris. These were crab cakes, with filler, very burned black on the bottom, the flavor was good enough and the mustard aioli is delicious, but nothing like the picture depicts. Michael had the NY strip $42.00, which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and charred very nicely, I noticed a couple of reviews balk at the charred outside of the steaks, but I happen to love this flavor and when you cook steaks at 500 degrees you should expect charring. Alas, my huge filet $39.00, ordered medium rare, had no charring, in fact it was barely in and out of those hot ovens and served to me raw and I do mean raw. Matt, the very friendly and attentive General manager, offered to have them re-cook it, instead I sliced off a few pieces and allowed my very hot plate to quickly do the job and brought home the bulk of it to have the next day. I need to add that the flavor and tenderness of the filet has gone down hill, I used to be a firm believer in they had the best and this is no longer true. For our sides, hubby ordered the hand cut fries $8.00, which are seasoned after cooking and I wish restaurants would state this as we are not a fan of seasoned fries, we just like them salted, I want to taste the potato, but the dog enjoyed them. I ordered both the potatoes au gratin, very good $8.50 and the creamed spinach, which can now be ordered along with a select list of sides in half sized portions, $6.00, which was also very good, but for $2.00 I could have had twice as much and if you tote home leftovers, a much better deal. We were each offered dessert, since it was our anniversary and I was already taking half of my food home, so I allowed Michael to chose two and he asked them to box two slices of banana cream pie. 5 stars for this pie all, a delicious and very rich custard laced with plenty of sliced caramelized bananas on a wonderful flaky crust! All in all, a 3.5 experience, the dining room staff makes it a five star restaurant along with Matt's guidance, the kitchen needs to pay more attention to detail to make Ruth's legacy proud.

I've been to this location a few times now and it's always fantastic. Tonight was no exception. My boyfriend and I each had a filet, I had mine with a lobster tail which I was a little hesitant to order but I'm so glad I did, it was perfectly cooked and the best lobster I've had in a long time. Our steaks were also perfectly cooked, and yes they are charred on the outside after being seared at 500 degrees... that is not for everyone apparently, but I love it. When visiting the other steakhouses in the area I always miss the charring and sizzling butter, so we keep coming back. The barbecued shrimp for starters and au gratin potatoes as a side are always seriously yummy, and for desert we tried the creme brulee...everything was just perfect including the wine and coffee. Our server was particularly awesome tonight, and really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our evening. The service isn't always that great, but it's never been bad. Can't come up with a reason not to give 5 stars though. We always leave full and happy and look forward to returning... :)

I came here for a Christmas Eve dinner with my family and was debating between a 3 and 4 because the steaks were a 4 but everything else was a 3. Their best deal is their 4 course dinner for $40- you can get their petite filet with a soup/salad, side and dessert- GREAT deal. I would get this the next time I come. Their appetizer of BBQ shrimp which they're famous was not that good, the shrimp was plump but the sauce was oily with a spice rub all over the shrimp. The lobster bisque was too thick and looked like it plopped out of a can. The French onion soup and the gumbo was really good though both can be very filling before your steaks come out. My caesar salad was a nice, light way to start off my meal. My petite filet was really good and the ribeyes were pretty tasty too. Our sides though of asparagus, broccoli, and mushrooms all tasted like they were boiled in water with absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. The creamed spinach was pretty standard. The creme brulee for dessert was good, nice creamy creme! Service was really great here, they gave us Christmas bells and took our photos for us and printed them out in these Ruth's Chris frames which was really cute.

I loved everything! I had the entree w/ chicken and steak...and I think it came w/ a crab cake. AWESOME! the chicken was deeeelicious. My husband had a huge steak come out and he devoured it. He also got the chocolate cheesecake for dessert...OMG! AWESOMENESS in a cake. It was so good that I forget what I had for dessert.

Always a nice alternative to the other steakhouses in the area. The staff is generally friendly and attentive, the food excellent, and the pace of the meal is spot on. It is a little on the pricey side and some may not like the a la carte method of ordering, but all in all it's a great place to have a good meal. I prefer the steaks at Flemings in Radnor a little more, but the service over there is hit or miss. I can't say that I've ever had less than excellent service at Ruths Chris. Great date restaruant. And hey, if things don't work out you can always head over to Hooters :)

Really great steak can be found here, along with fantastic service. That's a given and I will be the first to admit to a weakness for the well-marbled ribeye served on a practically sizzling plate here. But the happy hour menu is also fantastic and very very reasonably priced. It had been a long day and I was in the mood for some artery-clogging food, preferably with plenty of beef and potato, accompanied by a comforting cocktail. Enter the $7 Sizzle, Swizzle, and Swirl happy hour (from 4:30-6:30, I think?). My steak sandwich was very good with tender slices of filet, a buttered and toasted roll, and a nice topping of indulgent béarnaise. The béarnaise really added the finishing touch. Most steak sandwiches are pretty barebone, which is one of the reasons why I tend to shy away from ordering them, as much as I love steak. Not here, though. It also came with a side of fries, which were good but pretty typical for a steakhouse. Okay, I did coat them with some of the bearnaise from the sandwich and that was a delicious combo. Try it. I dare you. And then make sure that you start a statin regimen promptly. My manhattan was potent and nicely balanced. I also tried a bite (or two or three...) of the prime burger and it was juicy and flavorful. That's probably the next item to try on my list, although the ahi did look tempting. Anyhow, the service at the bar was great and the ambiance fantastic, as can be expected from this chain. If you get a meal and drink, it's about $20-25 (they have $3 beers too), incl. tax and tip, which is a great deal. Timing might be a bit tough but if you get here by 6:00 pm, you'll have plenty of time before the end of happy hour. Definitely give the happy hour a try if you are around the area during that time. You'll be well-fed and watered and your wallet will be very grateful.

Wow, my multi-year desire to visit Ruth's Chris steakhouse was met with great disappointment, a tough steak, and some nasty B.O. coming from the next table - thanks girls(!). We went to dinner last Saturday. Let's see, what went wrong - GF's lobster arrived 20 minutes after the other food did. My steak was of an unrecognizable cut but seemed to be, from the extreme toughness, from somewhere in the boot region of a cow. And I burned myself on the ridiculous 500F temperature plate. And if you are dismissing that last point as my own fault - they advertise the plates at that temp after all - then the other downside is that the last part of the steak was at 2 levels of doneness that what I ordered! The upside is that the sweet potato casserole was really tasty with a nice crumble. And we were able to get an 8pm reservation at 7:35 while in the car (thanks Android apps). When I'm in the mood again to drop $40 on just a steak, I'm heading to Morton's.

Went here for lunch last Friday. It was practically empty and we had an entire room to ourselves. Our server pretended to be professional but continually reached across one of our guests to give him beverages, etc and kept apologizing for it. Stop fucking doing it. She also forgot his beer. Really? There's NO ONE ELSE HERE, then you blame it on the bar? No, sweetie, you forgot. I ordered my steak medium, it was but the end was burnt to a crisp. To the point that the last bite sucked. Honestly, for 3 people and only one had a beer it was $160 before tip I don't think it was worth it, but I was a guest so I was content. The portions were good, their fries freaking rock, but they should for a friggin' $25 crabcake meal. Would I go again? Absolutely, if someone else were paying.

Was excited to try this place as we heard great reviews but unfortunately we were very disappointed. The service was mediocre. I did expect more for the prices. It took almost 15 minutes to get our bottle of wine. My wife and I both ordered filets medium rare and the waitress explained to us that the plates will be coming out at 500 degrees to please not touch them. One of my main questions is WHY would you serve piping hot plates like that. The steaks continue to cook and all you see are fat juices. When our steaks come out, one of the were cooked properly, the other one was a bit too rare. We didn't bother having the waitress bring it back because we barely saw her the rest of the meal. The steaks had absolutely no flavor. We brought home the rarer piece and even our cat wouldn't eat it. Tasted good the next day with A1 sauce which is pretty sad as a filet. Overall.. will never come back. If you are looking for a steakhouse in the area try Sullivans or Capital Grill!

A really good steakhouse. They also have a kids menu now which is good. The ravioli was amazing. The Cesar salad was huge and the steak was served hot and on a 500 degree plate. The service was really good and everyone was very friendly.

Our dinner started with excellent service from Adam (don't know his last name). We decided on the Friday night dinner for two deal for $99 and ordered the Filet and twin lobster tails. When dinner came out, Adam split both dinners in half for us to share in front of us, which was kind of cool. Everything tasted great and we very much enjoyed our chocolate bomb for dessert. Fun night and we will be back. Want to give a special shout out to both Ruth Chris and Birthday Pak for my $25 gift card. Thank you very much!!

My husband and I do a casual Fri nite dinner out and a Sat nite formal dinner every weekend so I don't mind spending the bucks for a fabulous meal. I was extremely disappointed this past Sat nite. It started with over 1/2 hr wait past our reservation time. Not the professional service I expected. Food was just ok. Nothing wow. When I expressed my disapointment to my server, she insisted I try dessert. I ordered the banana cream pie. It was a bowl of runny banana pudding. Meh, I have had better at Bone Fish Grill. Not worth the fuss or price tag.

I've been to a few Ruth's Chris, and this one just seems sub par. Something about it is not as good as the other ones I have been to. I would like to write a longer review but if you have been to a Ruth's Chris you know what to expect, awesomeness. This place just doesn't deliver, everything at this one is just OK. Which sucks because it is not indicative of the whole Ruth's Chris experience, just find a different one to go to and you will be fine.

Stopped here for a VERY rare night out with the wife and we were completely shocked how good it was. I have been to another Ruth's Chris in the city and it had been a long time. The entire meal was EXCELLENT. We decided to go right to the main course and salad/apps be damned. I had a regular rib eye steak done medium rare and it was impeccable and perfect. My wife had the combo which included a filet, a crab cake and some chicken. EVERYTHING that she got was excellent as I had to try it out. One other item of note was the bread budding we got for dessert and the AMAZING French Press Coffee that they serve. Seriously TRY IT next time and you will be amazed at the freshness and the taste. Excellent! If you are in the area, please stop in and give it a try. I know that there are MANY steak houses in the area and all of them are good but this place is trying and you can see that it is actually doing quite well.

Another Friday, another "Friday Night Date Night Special." Still worth the $99 but this time my ONLY complaint is that the clarified butter was way too salty. (I thought that clarified butter was always supposed to be unsalted?) Other than that, everything was great. We ended with a cheesecake for two that was really nice $99 for dinner for two, $34 for a bottle of pricey pinot...well worth the money. We always have oodles of food to take home, too.

I like chain restaurants, but never did I think I'd be visiting three different Ruth's Chris restaurants in three different cities. The Ruth's Chris restaurant in King of Prussia is no different from the rest. Great food and great service. I ordered off the Ruth's Choice menu which is a prix fixe menu of appetizer, entree, and dessert. You have a choice of a $39.95 or a $49.95 menu. Unfortunately the $49.95 menu isnt online but some of the choices on this menu include sea bass, ribeye, and 8 oz filet. I opted for the more expensive prix fixe menu and had the harvest salad (which had dried cherries, bacon bits, goat cheese, fried onions, tomatoes, roasted corn, cajun pecans, and mixed greens), sea bass, and chocolate mousse. The salad was flavorful. The combination of all the ingredients worked well with each other. A mix of sweet, sour and salty. Delicious! The sea bass was the highlight of the meal. It was pan fried so it was slightly crispy on the outside and very flaky and soft on the inside. The sea bass was on a bed of spinach and tomato risotto. I ordered a side of garlic green beans with the entree. It was fresh with big cloves of roasted garlic. Yum! The dessert left much to be desired. The menu online indicated a duo pairing of carrot cake and a cup of chocolate mousse. Instead we got a cup of chocolate mousse and a cup of fruit. It was not very memorable. The Service was good. Since we were stuck in PA for a conference and had no cash, we asked our waitress to split our checks so we could each pay by credit card. They were hesitant at first, but ended up accomodating us.

I love this place... A little pricy but fine dinning! From the crab cakes , lollie pop lamb chops to the stuff chicken and steak (I think I tried everything on their menu) it's worth the money and the service it amazing! Sheila is great. Be nice to her she's friend with the bartender

A relative and I were in King of Prussia and stopped on a Thursday night without a reservation. It was not a problem, and we were seated immediately. The location appears older, but is well maintained. Decor was nice, and we started with our entrees. I had the scallop and vegetable dish, and my dining partner had the ribeye. We shared scalloped potatoes. Our meals were delicious, and service was excellent. I have to say that it was nice to have servers who hold to a level of service not usually seen in this area, even in more upscale restaurants. For example, the waitstaff waited until we were both done with our meals to clear plates. I would definitely return. Definitely better than other steakhouses in the area.

I went to Ruth's the first time a few weeks ago. I like the atmosphere. The wine was great. The steak was great as well. I did feel that for a single person, $75+ for a two glasses of wine and 1 side dish was pretty costly for what I felt I received.

I'm going to write a bad review on this location of Ruth's Chris but please note, this was on Valentine's Day and I've had wonderful experiences at other locations. I decided to plan my vday dinner at this location when I received a promotional email on their steak and lobster vday special. Up until now, I've never had a bad meal at a Ruth's Chris or at any high-end steakhouse. My first observation was that everyone working there seemed to be in their early twenties. I just thought this was odd for a high-end steakhouse. It was as-if they were trying to be professional but still came off immature and unpolished. We sat down and ordered and ended up waiting for over 25 minutes for our meal to arrive. In that time, no one came by to refill our waters. Our waiter was not attentive to the fact that our first drinks were empty and we were eager to order a second while waiting for our food. Then the manager came over to our table to explain that there was a mix-up in the kitchen and they gave our meals to another table and then forgot about us completely. After about 5 minutes our food arrived and I had ordered my steak "rare". It came out as "medium" and was not pink at all, much less cool in the center. I returned my steak and was quickly brought a new plate within 2 minutes. Again, my steak was not rare. At this point my date had finished his steak already and I was so famished, I could not wait and just ate it. The manager and server apologized to us and we were compensated for the inconvenience. But now my view of Ruth's Chris will forever be tainted. I'll probably go back to Sullivan's down the street.

We did the 3 course menu, which gives a few different salad and entree options to mix with a dessert. Decor is nice, and as someone else noted the service staff is oddly young. Either that or I am refusing to accept that I'm getting older. Both of us started with the same salad (Harvest?), which was a nice mix of greens, fruit, and nuts over a bed of lightly fried onions. It was good but I started getting really sick of the fried onions and left about half. Wife tried the halibut, one of her favorite fish, which was crusted with something (Garlic?). The fairly large fish was done perfectly and tasted great, she really liked it, although she did request a sauce that I can't recall on the side to keep things interesting. I went for the ribeye, which was juicy and delicious enough that I was very happy despite it coming out medium as opposed to medium rare. Not sure if I buy into the scalding hot plate it comes out on as anything more than a gimmick though. Green bean side was good, sauteed mushrooms were just ok. Dessert was good, some kind of small cake and some ice cream with raspberry drizzle. Compared to Morton's, I'd say Ruth's Chris is a better value, but Morton's is a better restaurant. The prix fixe is cheaper with better options unless you're really into filet mignon. Atmosphere isn't quite as good though, and the prep of the dishes at Morton's was better overall. That said, it was a good meal and I'd certainly go again. Looking back at what I wrote, this is a pretty pathetic review. I think I just quantified the aftereffect a bachelor party has on one's ability to recall anything done the following day.

We should have gone to Sullivan's. The steaks that the men had were good, but that's all that came out correctly prepared. Although when asked of the wait staff if the meat was wet aged or dry aged, she said yes. Side dishes came out cold. My tuna dish was over seasoned and barely seared.

My husband took me here for our anniversary last year. It was very, very good. Service was excellent. Great wine list and speciality drinks. My filet was perfect. Like most steak houses, sides were huge! The waiters double team tables (two servers per "room"), so you'll never be out of water and they'll take good care of you. The food is really good, but it's not very inventive and they don't do much for local food (the problem with all chains). I wish they could take advantage of all the fresh local ingredients they could get their hands on, but I'm sure that would be a problem with their corporate quality people.

If you're willing to spend money for steak, then you should try this place. The atmosphere is excellent and refreshing as it differs from all other steakhouses. The steaks come out on piping hot plates, which keeps your steak at the right temperature the entire meal. The sides are generous portions that can easily be shared and the service is excellent. The high price is what knocks this rating down one star.

A group of 7 went to Ruth Chris for my daughter's sixteenth birthday. For $65. a person, this place was a bust! The steaks were good and cooked as we asked. However, most of the sides came out cold, the gumbo came out cold and the banana cream pie was runny which is funny since the waitress gave us a fork to use....we needed a spoon because it was liquid. The manager was very nice and came to the table to acknowledge us. We would have told him the issues had he come later in the meal. Our waitress was very polite but also very inattentive. Our drinks were never refilled unless we asked (we did stop asking), our rolls and butter were only refilled because we asked the bus boy cleaning off the table behind us and she never once asked how the food was...because I would have told her. In fact, when she brought the banana cream pie I was complaining about it to everyone around me with her standing right behind them and she just stood there and acted as if she didn't hear a word I said. Trust me, at that point, I was not saying it low that she could not hear. Needless to say, we wont be returning here...we will go to Morton's like we had planned the next time.

$35 for a filetmigon. $8 for garlic mash potatoe. Sat at the bar. Nice ambiance and so so service. The mash potatoe was good, but the steak wasn't that good. No flavor; the inside was perfectly red and juicy, but the outside was seared so bad that it was like chewing a quarter inch cardboard. I think it is just a regular steak without aging.

I feel like Ruth's Chris is one of those things I shouldn't be attracted to, like Russel Brand. I've been handing out a lot of 5-star reviews lately, but a chain restaurant...?! Wait, it gets worse... We ordered off the $40 Fall Special menu which includes choice of appetizer, entree, side, and a dessert. (Now THAT'S a good deal. Screw Restaurant Week.) They were out of the side I wanted and the bf's appetizer, and our waiter initially gave me the wrong appetizer. Okay well damn, why don't you just tell me what I'll be having tonight. And then I made the awful mistake of ordering my petit filet MEDIUM. Why on Earth would I ever do that?! I ALWAYS order medium rare! Complete moment of mental impairment on my part. But then my petit prime filet came out, sizzling and luscious like it was speaking to me. I was about to cry that I ordered it medium and assumed it'd be dry. Cut into it and took my first bite and it oozed like hot lava in my mouth. Tried the bf's medium rare, even better. So tender, it could've been baby food. Our sides were perfect too. Whipped mashed potatoes. No chunks, silky as sauce and creamy. Green beans still crispy and buttered up. Giggity giggity. The manager was nice enough to stop by our table and ask how everything was going. I could only smile at him like he was my savior. If you are a vegetarian and would like to "experiment" with the other side like in 8th grade, try Ruth's Chris prime filet. I promise you won't go back.

I had dinner at Ruth's Chris this past Friday night. I've tried their Center City location before so I already knew what to expect. I knew it would be expensive but I also knew it would be good :) I was with a party of 9 so we decided to share appetizers and sides. I think we ordered one of each side. The lollipop lamb chops were amazing! The asparagus was another one of my favs. The garlic mash was awesome as well. Oh and I cant forget the crab cakes! Nothing was bad but those were my favorites. For my entree I ordered the T-bone steak. The steak was to die for. It was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. I knew I wouldn't finish the whole steak so I decided to save room for dessert instead. For dessert I ordered the molten lava cake. This is a chocolate lovers dream come true. Chocolate within chocolate with ice cream on top. :) It was much bigger than I thought it would be so I ended up taking that home as well. Although the service was great at the start, it diminished quickly. We had to call our waiter over to place our orders for the entrees. Towards the end, I had to ask 3 times for a refill on my soda.

Disclaimer: This is specifically a review of drinks/dessert, since I ate a meal elsewhere beforehand. So my fiance and I stopped in for dessert and drinks on the way back to our hotel, after an unhappy dinner experience elsewhere. This may not have been the best choice. Dessert was delicious. We split some sort of bourbon sauced cake and an apple tart. I had coffee with it, and I think she had a drink. Overall, this part was enjoyable, but then again, I'd expect no less from a Ruth Chris, or any other steakhouse. What I didn't expect, and am rather unhappy about, is the service, or lack thereof. The waiter was distant at best, and rather rude once he realized we weren't ordering entrees. I get that this means his tip wouldn't be huge, but it's not like he was hurting for business that night, and frankly, we do this at other steakhouses, and they're always fine with it. I didn't expect quite the ass-kissing one gets when you go all out, but this was ridiculous. On top of effectively ignoring us for most of the time we were there, he pretty much scolded a busboy for reasons unknown right next to our table. Not cool man! Anyway, I'm usually in the area for work reasons, but I'll probably be eating elsewhere when I am. I expect good service, no matter what I order. If you do decided to go, make sure to stay for dessert. I imagine this isn't everyone's experience, and well, dessert was good enough that I'm complimenting it again after trashing the service. Haha. ~EEE~

An incredible experience in terms of quality of food and service. Best steak I've ever had- period. Extremely expensive in relation to our "normal" dining- steaks were $37+ which does not include any side dishes.

The service is decent, the prices are over the top, but that was by far the most rare, juicy, delicious filet mignon I have ever had. It was expensive, but it was the best steak my mouth has ever known....

Ambience...it was romantic and fun and expect a more traditional feel. All in all it was what I would expect from a high end restaurant. Classy and expensive without making me feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable. The waitress was nice and she seemed genuine and personable when addressing me. The food....i have to ssay the steak was fantastic. It really hit the spot when I went. I ordered the new york strip and it was really delicious. The meat was extremely juicy and it was more of an expierence than just a meal. The food came out..sizzling hot..the sounds, the aroma of the meat and the crisp look of the meat slightly charred but nice and pink on the inside....it was unlike any dining meal i've had in a while. The first bite, juice had squirted out of the meat...memorable moment...so flavorful... My daughter ordered the lamb chops (with the butter) and it was so flavorful. The butter gives the meat some added kick but I think my steak was just as juicy without. The lamb was extremely soft and delicious. I'm torn between which one i liked bett\er. I have to say they were equally delicious and both need to be tried. Dessert...standard...creamy spinach appetizer....ehhh its not bad...ordered ahi tuna appetizer...have had better at a sushi restaurant...wine...was pretty good shiraz... All in all...the place shines for its meats...lamb and steak...the other things were pretty good...

I've eaten here a few times, and both the food and service are excellent. If you like steak, this is the place to be. Their pork chops and fish dishes are also amazing. The portions are more than enough and I always end up taking food home. Side dishes are served family-style, and there are many microbrew beers from which to choose. This is definitely an upscale restaurant, but casual dress, even jeans and sneakers, is totally acceptable and you will not feel out of place or underdressed among the other patrons. The laid back atmosphere and extremely attentive staff make for a great dining experience. I cannot recommend Ruth's Chris highly enough and would give it more than five stars if it were possible. Expect to spend a good amount of money on your meal, and expect to leave feeling that it was worth every penny.

Solid steak house. Compared to others in the area, (Morton's and Sullivan's) definitely a "cut above." We dine here twice a year and are never disappointed in either service or food. The price fix menu is a great value. Cuts of meat are superior to any we've had anywhere else--and we've tried the other steakhouses.

The service was great. Our sever was very knowledgable and friendly. I thought the meal was overpriced.. Although very good I have had equally good meals at much less expensive steak houses. I also never had an $8.50 backed potato or $8.50 spinach before. It was a good meal but not worth the money they charged. I will not return.

Had an amazing meal here tonight. Our second time to this place. First visit was years ago and remembered it being excellent, this time was great as well. It is quite exspensive but A memorable meal indeed. We enjoyed ribeye, filets, lobster tail, shrimp and some various sides mashed potatoes, brocolli augratin and sweet potatoe cassarole. The sweet potatoes were to die for. The steaks and seafood were amazing and the best since our last visit to ruth's chris. Atmosphere and service was very good as well If you want to eat the best steaks on the planet and dont mind spending 50 - 70 dollars per person then this will be a memorable destination.

I also had dinner with the graduating class of 09 @ Ruth's Chris and this was my 1st time eatting there and i agree with Jen R when she says that the lollipop lamb chops were reallly realllly goood!!! The garlic mashed potatoes were pretty good too & the Crab Cakes were OMG AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For my entree i know this may be a shocker but i actually had this stuffed chicken breast , its a double chicken breast stuffed with garlic herb cheese and served with lemon buttter. that was goooood. I wouldnt mind comming back here again & at least the good thing was i felt like i wasnt under dress cause other people who were in that restaurant dressed like ( lets just say out of control) Overall you shouldnt have any problems with parking & i was satisfied with everything

Ruth's Chris is exactly what you would expect from a chain steakhouse restaurant. I enjoyed my meal, but don't come with high culinary expectations. However, do come expecting a good piece of steak, traditional sides, and a couple servings of butter. Don't plan on coming here the evening before a blood test - you might give your doctor a heart attack and have one of your own while you're at it. My husband and I shared the "chop salad," which was a fancy cole slaw without as much dressing and covered with fried onions. It was tasty and nothing to complain about. For our entree, we each had a ribeye steak (I ate my whole ribyeye steak by myself), and shared potatoes au gratin and sauteed mushrooms. The steak came out sizzling on a plate heated to 500 degree. I'm not really sure what the hot plate did for my meal, other than heat my fork and burn my mouth as I ate. I also suspect that it might have continued cooking my steak from medium rare (which is what I ordered) to somewhere between medium rare and medium. Also, instead of a nice sear on the outside of my steak, it was actually charred (blackened) to the point where it was burnt and I actually had to scrape some of it off. What remained on my plate, charred bits of steak and melted butter, looked a little unappetizing. Good thing I didn't notice it until after I devoured my steak! I don't even want to know how many ounces it was. All in all, I would have preferred a medium rare steak over a super hot plate, and a nice brown sear as opposed to blackened char. However, the meat was good and even though the outside was overdone, it was still enjoyable. The sides were your all-American steakhouse sides. Potatoes were potatoes, cooked just right with lots of cream, butter and cheese. The mushrooms, however, didn't appear to be sauteed. They looked more like regular old white button mushrooms baked in butter. Dessert was the molten lava cake. Cake was dry but molten was good, especially when mixed with the vanilla ice cream. Everything we had was served with, or in, butter or cream. How could you go wrong?

this was an incredible restaurant before they changed management around 2003/2004, since then it's been meh. hopefully they'll change the chef and management and get back on track.

The steaks are good but I have had better grilled on my back deck. I ordered a New York strip and it was served on a small plate which didn't make sense to me because it didn't leave a lot of room for cutting. The crab stuffed mushrooms we ordered as an appetizer looked to be restaurant supply types. 6 mushrooms capped with an overly breaded stuffing with the slight hint of crab. Sauteed mushrooms as a side were seemingly boiled on butter. My wife got the filet with crab and hollandaise. Not a lot of hollandaise but her filet mignon was very good. I had complained about the small size plates and the crab appetizer and they refunded the $10.95 for the crab/mushrooms so they get points for customer satisfaction. Cheapest wine is $11 a glass. I knew this place was going to expensive but I didn't feel the value.

Went last Thursday - not the restaurants fault - but kids galore - everywhere, laying on the floor, running up and down between tables - spilling sodas in the lobby - we finally were seated (they were 20 minutes past our reservation) - and ordered - I got the filet - my husband the strip - after we ordered, we heard our waitress tell the table next to us well you should order your steaks a catagory under what you liked them cooked - since they continue to cook on our 500 degree plates - um, dont you think your cooks should compensate for that - or your server should tell every table? Our steaks came out - for the most part burnt - don't get me wrong, if I were at longhorn, the steaks would be fine - but if we are paying 4 times as much as longhorn, they should be at least twice as good - Onion rings were excellent, we got the mashed potato special as a side - it had pools of grease all over the top of it - drinks were good, but 12 a piece - Skip this place - try the Capital Grille or Berkley Prime - best steaks you will ever have for the same price range.

Not impressed. It's a steak house but they don't seem to know how to cook steaks to order. We've been to this location twice and neither time did our filets come out as ordered. The Lobster Bisque was the consistency of wallpaper paste, asparagus overcooked, Hollandaise not authentic - tasted like mayonaise.
